What is Rosewall Neighbourhood Centre?
Rosewall NC is one of the 25 Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres in the Barwon region. It is located in North Corio, in the heart of the Rosewall community.
"Neighbourhood Houses bring people together to connect, learn and contribute in their local community through social, educational, recreational and support activities..."
The Rosewall NC is open 9-3 Monday to Friday. We have 4 part time staff and many volunteers. You can come in any time we are open for a chat, a cuppa, to get information or join an activity. You can also leave public information here for others to see.
We have a public cafe Tuesdays to Thursdays 9.30 -1.30. Drop in, or book a group. We keep the prices low and serve hot meals whenever we are open. The Cafe also does catering, and takes bookings for events.
We offer adult education courses so you can learn English language, Computer skills, Aged Care, Food Handling and other courses here. We also have exercise classes and activities and groups for pursuing hobbies and creative arts activities. We have a pottery studio as well as the only community kiln in the Northern suburbs.
Details of courses are listed in the term brochure. You can download it by clicking the link to your right.
The staff at Rosewall Neighbourhood Centre can help you get information, or contact a Community Service. You can also get photocopying, faxing and laminating done here. We have a computer with internet access that is available to the public (conditions apply)
Rosewall Neighbourhood Centre also manages the Hendy St Hall. The facility is used by a number of community groups and is available for bookings. Call us to enquire about a booking
